I have these Energy Suspension insert kits. I have a love/hate relationship with these things. Basically:
-I hate them when my car is warming up, get ready to hear your plastic become your sound system
-I love them when I haul ass, my engine stays put.
You decide........

So they are make of plastic, and you hear them when you start the car. What kind of noises does it make?? Were they hard to install?? How long did it take??
thanks

He's talking about every single plastic piece inside the car squeeking and rattling like crazy because the engine's vibration is fully transferred to the rest of the car after the inserts are put in.

2 of the motor mount inserts are not hard to install, but the 3rd one in the rear between the motor and the firewall is a pain to get to. I havent even put the 3rd one in, and the motor stays put when accelerating.
The car rattles like crazy when warming up, and then gives your ears an odd bass-like pressure feeling when idling. It's not hard to get used to, my old honda civic did that all the time.
But yea, like the previous post, it is a love-hate relationship - like everything else.
I.E:
Bigger wheels- look good, better cornering, loose torque
Stiff suspension - great cornering, bumpier ride
Intake- more power, louder
Exaust- more power, louder
You should be used to tradeoffs by now

I've had the ES mounts in my car for about two weeks now. The first time I drove the car after the mounts were installed I was a little on the upset side because of how the car felt. After about a week I was as happy as a clam and glad that I'd put the motor mounts in.
Basically, I needed to relearn my car. I had to learn what all the new sounds and vibrations were to get used to them. Had to do the same thing when I had the super charger installed. When ever I change the car I usually have to take a little time getting to know car all over again.
Damn these love affairs.

I know these help with wheel hope, but what about just punching the throttle. Does it increase response, accelaration transition, what is the best effect?
Can your friends tell, in both vibration increase and performance changes as they drive in the car?

I got the motor mount inserts because I was going to be SCing it. I was having some serious rocking back and forth when punching it in any gear. It just doesnt happen anymore.

Lund, with the energy suspension mount, yes to everything. There is less wheel hop. When shifting during accel. or downshifting, erverything seems quicker and more 'connected'. It feels like you can snap off shifts quicker. When punching the trottle, it seems like it responds better to the butt dyno. ANYBODY in the car will feel the vibration! This ain't your mushy overweight car idle for sure

Another thing I would like to add is you might need washers to hold the inserts in. Some Integras came with washers, some didn't.
